Workshop on Evaluating and Choosing an
Electronic Health Record System
The Florida
Medical Association and the DCMS are sponsoring a free workshop for physicians
and their office staff on Learning How to Select and Purchase an
Electronic Health Record for your practice. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 2, from 6-8 PM in the
FPIC boardroom. If you have been considering purchasing an electronic medical
records system, this workshop is for you!

The annual DCMS
/ Navy meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, from
DCMS Directory Verification Forms
All DCMS members
should have received their DCMS Directory verification forms for the 2008
Directory. Please review your information
carefully, make any additions or corrections, and return your form via FAX or
mail as soon as possible. Please pay special attention to the information about NPI numbers. This year’s directory will include NPI
numbers … for those who give us
permission to print your number.
Please clearly indicate your preference and make sure any NPI number
printed on your form is accurate.
