The DCMS partners with The Florida Times-Union for a column that runs in the Wednesday Health section of the paper! DCMS members have the opportunity to write FREE educational columns and submit them for publication!
DCMS members have authored articles on a variety of topics, including allergies caused by Christmas trees, how much sleep children need, the effects of daylight savings, and even how to avoid injury while training for a race.
If you would like to write an article, please contact Kristy Wolski, DCMS Communications Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org with your potential topic!
There are a few guildines for the column:
The article should be educational and at a 5th grade reading level.
The author must be a DCMS member.
The article should be between 500 and 700 words.
Please include a two sentence bio about yourself.
Please include a high resolution head shot.
Articles are not allowed to promote one hospital or organization over another. Keep your article health centered.
You cannot submit your article to any other publication if submitted to this column.
