Department to host public workshops on amendment two implementation

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—The Florida Department of Health will host a series of public rule development workshops regarding the implementation of Amendment 2. Representatives from the department will gather input from stakeholders and the general public on the proposed rule and how to best move forward with implementing Amendment 2. The proposed rule can be reviewed here. The meetings will take place at the following dates, times and locations:
Feb. 6, 2017 2 – 4 p.m., Duval County Health Department 900 University Boulevard North Jacksonville, Florida 32211
Feb. 7, 2017 10 a.m.–noon, Broward County Health Department 780 SW 24th Street Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315
Feb. 8, 2017 9 – 11 a.m., Florida Department of Health, Tampa Branch Laboratory 3602 Spectrum Boulevard Tampa, Florida 33612
Feb. 8, 2017 6 – 8 p.m., Orange County Health Department 6102 Lake Ellenor Drive Orlando, Florida 32809
Feb. 9, 2017 4 – 6 p.m., Betty Easley Conference Center, 4075 Esplanade Way, Room 148, Tallahassee, Florida 32399
