DCMS Staff

Bryan Campbell, DCMS Chief Executive Officer:

Bryan Campbell has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Duval County Medical Society since February, 2012. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He moved to Florida in 2002 to work at First Coast News, where he was the Executive Producer until 2006. After nearly 14 years in broadcast television, he transitioned to organized medicine in 2006, becoming the Director of Public, Media and Industry Relations for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He worked at AACE until joining the DCMS in 2012.

Bryan believes that organized medicine is a critical part of American society, providing a unified voice for physicians and providing valuable resources to physicians and their practices. He believes that in spite of, or maybe even because of, the rapid changes to the health care system, organized medicine is more important now than ever.

Bryan is an avid sports fan. He is a season ticket holder for the Jacksonville Jaguars and gets to at least one Nebraska Cornhuskers football game every season. He lives in Orange Park with his wife, Sarah, and two children: Lauren, and Nathan.

Courtney Hassan, Meetings and Membership Coordinator:

Courtney Hassan joined the DCMS in February 2015 as the Meetings & Membership Coordinator. Prior to the DCMS, Courtney worked in country clubs for over seven years, most recently as the Event Planner and Membership Director of Gainesville Country Club. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Event Management and a minor in Business Administration.

At DCMS, it is Courtney’s responsibility to organize and plan all events from monthly meetings to the larger annual meetings. She also handles membership inquiries, questions and processing.

Courtney was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, but prior to moving back to Jacksonville, she lived in Gainesville, Florida for five years. She is a Gator and one of her favorite past times is attending games in the Swamp. Courtney is a coffee-enthusiast. She also enjoys cooking and being outside in the Florida sun.

Kristy Wolski, Communications Coordinator:

Kristy Wolski joined the DCMS in December 2014 as the Communications Coordinator. Previously, Kristy was a news reporter for more than eight years. She worked at TV stations in Jacksonville, San Diego, Tampa/St. Petersburg and Panama City Beach.

At DCMS, Kristy is responsible for managing Northeast Florida Medicine, a quarterly journal covering a variety of topics in medicine. Kristy also coordinates a DCMS column with The Florida Times-Union and helps arrange interviews for local media outlets. She is responsible for the Annual DCMS Directory, the DCMS website and social media accounts, and for coordinating the DCMS Leadership Academy and the annual Beals & Shahin awards.

Kristy was raised on Kent Island, a small island in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. Naturally, that makes her a lover of blue crabs and the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. She loves warm weather, though, which brought her to the University of Florida for college. She spends most of her time with her fiance, WC, a longtime Jacksonville resident. They are Jaguars season ticket holders and they love to travel. So far, their favorite adventures have been dog sledding on a glacier in Alaska and climbing the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. They have a cat and a dachshund.

Marissa graduated from the University of North Florida in December 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration.

Kristine Gundian, Membership Marketing Coordinator:

Kristine Gundian joined the DCMS in February 2017 as the Membership Marketing Coordinator. She holds a MS in Health Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. Prior to DCMS, Kristine coordinated and managed all aspects of opening a family medicine practice in Orlando, Florida, where she worked for two years. It was in that role that she realized she really enjoyed healthcare marketing & health promotion, which prompted her to get her masters in health communication.

At DCMS, Kristine's primary responsibilities include recruiting new physician members, identifying member needs in order to retain current members, and promoting the mission of DCMS to help physicians care for the health of our community. She is very excited to begin this journey with DCMS in this new role!

Kristine was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, and moved to the Jacksonville Beach area in June 2016 from downtown Orlando. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family (dogs included) & close friends, the beach, sporting events, working out and living a healthy lifestyle. Kristine has traveled to Europe several times, and her favorite place she has visited so far is the Greek island of Santorini. She considers herself to be a foodie, and has recently taken an interest in cooking. She is also trying to become fluent in Spanish.
