We Care Jacksonville

We Care Jacksonville, Inc. (We Care) was organized in 1993 as a collaborative effort of the Duval County Medical Society, Duval County Health Department, George S. Trotter, MD, local churces, hospitals, and community organizations to provide donated healthcare to low income persons who are uninsured and 200% at or below the Federal Poverty Level. We Care has evolved into a community partnership of healthcare professionals, community volunteers and health systems. Through donations of time, skills and services, We Care is able to provide medical specialty care to those who either lack access to care or cannot afford healthcare services.
