You won't want to miss this:
The DCMS, in partnership with UF Health Jacksonville and Orange Park Medical Center, is bringing Do No Harm, a documentary on Physician Suicide, to Jacksonville. Doctors are our healers, yet they have the highest rate of suicide among any profession. Medical students and families of physicians touched by suicide come out of the shadows to expose this silent epidemic.
This free movie screening will take place on April 23 at the UF Health Jacksonville LRC Auditorium. Refreshments will be served starting at 5:00 PM, and the screening is scheduled to begin at 6:00. After the screening, the director will lead a discussion, followed by a panel discussion and closing remarks.
All are invited!
Please RSVP to David.Chesire@jax.ufl.edu.
For those coming from outside the UF campus, parking is available at the South Parking Garage attached to our Clinical Center (655 West 8th Street Jacksonville, FL 32209). Parking vouchers will be distributed after the event for those of you who need them. Once you have parked, go the first floor of the parking garage. The Learning Resource Center entrance is located by a walkway on the south side of the garage. The auditorium is located on the left side of the atrium as you enter the building.
