A Message from DCMS President Dr. Ruple Galani:

Every year we celebrate the dedication and hard work of physicians throughout the nation on Doctors' Day. I want to thank all our DCMS physicians for your selfless dedication to your patients, the sacrifices you make for your families, your love of medicine, and most importantly your engagement with our medical society and community. The backbone of our city's health, success, and future is determined by all our DCMS members. So on this day we celebrate you, the DCMS Doctor. Stand tall, stand proud, and know that our medical society is always there to help and support you today and every day of the year.

A Message from DCMS Foundation President Dr. Sunil Joshi:

We all have many challenges in our fields of medicine which include electronic medical records, insurance and government regulations and, of course, physician burnout as well. We have sacrificed much with extended periods of schooling, ridiculously long hours during residency & fellowship training and as a result had to put our own lives on hold during these years. It is very nice to have a day when the general public stops and recognizes doctors and everything we do to try and keep our patients healthy. But this should also be a day when we reach out to our medical brothers/sisters and thank them for their sacrifices and continued dedication to the greatest profession on earth. This is just a small way that we can encourage each other to continue the good work of taking care of the health of our community.

A Message from DCMS Chief Executive Officer Bryan Campbell:

Doctors' Day is a chance for us to celebrate the extraordinary, that each of you make ordinary every day. DCMS members never cease to amaze me. Whether it's saving lives every day, participation in cutting edge research, freely giving time to improve the health of the community, or simply taking the time to give back to the profession by volunteering for the society, DCMS members are literary living our mission to help doctors care for the health of our community every day.

From me and my family, whom you have helped through injury, sickness, allergies and more, I personally extend my gratitude and commitment to keep fighting to preserve and protect the practice of medicine.

Thank you!
