The DCMS is excited to welcome new member Alexander Davis, MD. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Davis is now serving as an Assistant Professor in medical genetics for UF Health Jacksonville. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Genetics at Clemson University and subsequently his Medical Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. His combined Pediatrics-Medical Genetics residency was completed at the University of Alabama Birmingham, which he graduated from in June 2024.
Dr. Davis has a vested interest in medical education and hopes to bring a Medical Genetics Residency program to UF Health Jacksonville.
