In normal aging, it is common to forget names or appointments, but often these details are remembered at a later time. It is ordinary to misplace things, but often the missing items can be found after one retraces his steps. So how do you tell the difference between normal age-related changes in memory and early dementia?

Dr. Phyllis Taylor, a member of the Duval County Medical Society, highlights some of the early warning signs of Alzheimer's in this week's article for Prime Time in The Florida Times-Union.
