AMA Delegation

AMA DELEGATION

The American Medical Association's House of Delegates is the principal policy-making body of the AMA. AMA Delegates are elected from state and national medical societies.

According to Article VI of the AMA Constitution:

The legislative and policy-making body of the Association is the House of Delegates, composed of elected representatives and others as provided in the Bylaws. The House of Delegates shall transact all business of the Association not otherwise specifically provided for in this Constitution and Bylaws, and shall elect the general officers except as otherwise provided in the Bylaws.

 

THE DCMS IS PROUD TO CURRENTLY HAVE FOUR MEMBERS SERVING AS DELEGATES TO THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION.

2018 AMA Annual Meeting


The 2018 AMA House of Delegates Annual Meeting took place June 9-13, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois.
