PROVIDING A CONFIDENTIAL RESOURCE FOR DCMS PHYSICIANS IN NEED
The LifeBridge: Confidential Physician Counseling program is designed to address the seriousness of physician burnout in our community. Practicing medicine can be highly stressful and doctors face day-to-day challenges with emotional stress and work burnout. This can impact one's personal, practice or family life.
DCMS is dedicated to addressing the needs of its physician members and, through its Foundation, provides a resource that is voluntary and confidential. Through a private 24/7 wellness line & online direct access, six free counseling and coaching sessions are available to all DCMS members.
LifeBridge is mindful of privacy and confidentiality. No information is disclosed to others. The certified counselors are experienced in coaching healthcare professionals and are dedicated to the needs of DCMS physician members with flexible hours and availability.
DCMS maintains physician confidentiality. DCMS does not keep client specific records. As a standard practice, clinicians keep confidential records, but do not reveal physician identity to the DCMS.
